Having grown up on a diet of sci-fi, I have been interested in anything to do with space (fact or fiction) since I was a boy. So it was the realisation of a life-long dream when I finally got a telescope! And boy, it's a biggie!
A 10 inch, Dark Star Dobsonian. I should get some great views with this baby.

I am 5'8"(ish) tall...

It is quite an old telescope, and unfortunately the company that made it is no longer in business. According to the internet, the optics are a very good quality. I would like to know more about the history of this scope, so if anyone out there can help, please get in touch.
